Cooling down... calming down.....

Weather news
The temperature this morning at 8 am was a noticeably cooler 22º . The haze had disappeared and the mountains to the north west were sharp and clear and shining in the early sunshine.
The potted plants needed less water and 'el tiempo' is forecasting a high of only 26º but we expect it will reach at least 27º.

Getting away
We have blocked three whole weeks off the calenders for Villa Tranquila & Cortijo Azahar and Ian is busy preparing our campervan for it's visit to Portsmouth for the annual MOT due in October.  We will catch the ferry from Santander.   This year though, after our amazingly successful 3 week tour of Morocco in February, our first ever time on the road,  we are planning a much longer trip, visiting family and friends and have even booked the ferry over to Dublin to meet up with our son's extended family.
The van is getting a paint job and all the niggly odd jobs that needed doing inside are being done and it's oh so exciting looking forward to getting away for a while.  Only 6 weeks to wait.

Motril
.... is calming down.  The majority of summer visitors left the coast last weekend heading back to their homes, parking is easier and the supermarkets already are noticeably emptier.

September is a good month to be here, but then, isn't any month?
