The La Linea association has issued a circular incensed that it is Gibraltar that gets blamed by those in Spain, mainly right wingers.
Their circular is about those in Spain who are forever propagating untruths about Gibraltar, without blaming themselves for the ever-shrinking bay.
It refers to, and names, those who in their view keep telling one untruth after another about Gibraltar.
They fear that even jobs held by Spaniards in Gibraltar could be threatened by the unfair attitude of those in Spain who keep attacking the Rock.
There is a lack of employment in the Campo and indeed in Spain as a whole, so large numbers have to work in Gibraltar, where their grand-fathers and great grand-fathers have equally done so in the past, creating the city of La Linea thanks to that Rock, says the association.
There are those in Spain who keep publishing untruths, without bothering to check what is the reality.
